Limit the number of links for member's signature

I don't think that this has been suggested before, so I'm going to bring it up.

I suggest that administrators of their forum should be allowed to set the number of signature links that can be used for a user group.

Don't tell me "just disable signatures for members" or place a rule about it in effect.

People don't listen right away, and I want my forum members to use links in their signatures, but not to over do it.

I think this needs to be broadened. Not only should the links be numbered, but there should also be an option to completely disable links in signatures or only allow staff to post links in sigs.

Voted yes. I recently created a forum and asked one of the people that created it with me "Should we allow signatures?". He said yes, and asked whether you could limit links/images in a signature. I said yes, as I was sure that it was possible, but clearly it isn't and I must have read this thread earlier Razz
