we should be able to have real time notifications like facebook does so we can know straight away when someone replied to our post or added us as a friend.

thanks for voting! Very Happy so how many votes do we roughly need to get this implemented
8 Flamin, on 15/05/2010 at 07h33
Voted yes. Btw when will this be implemented?
9 Darren1, on 15/05/2010 at 08h08
I'm voting no here; it'll be too much of a strain on our servers Wink

Flamin, IF it is accepted, we will never know the time line of it's implementation, as only the techs know what's in an update Wink

I say no! I made this on my site. You guys can too. NO!
11 TheListener, on 15/05/2010 at 09h10
Problem is HOW you did it. We should all be able to do it, not just a few that know enough coding.

Bump!

Listener, Flamin, CodyCFS has a similar (in terms of quickly accessing your posts) but it's NOT like the Facebook alert system Wink
aka, its basically clicking the "view your posts" button on a toolbar. lol.

It's done by template codes Wink
14 Codyy, on 16/05/2010 at 02h48
You can also view your profile on it too, Darren. lol
15 TheListener, on 16/05/2010 at 03h00
But wouldn't it be better if the notifications where beyond a simple link? That's what we're looking for. Bump.
16 Tobii, on 16/05/2010 at 03h19

Hi, As I was reading through articles I came across one of the advantages in real time datawarehouse that it can replace the operational reporting so there is no need for reports to go across 2 reporting DB there can be one centralised Real time DW so
