you havent added a poll for yes or no. I would say no really, as i would rather know someone very well before giving them any sort of position on my forum.

I mean you dont have to give them status straight away. Just ask them to visit the forum, do what you want them to do and if u have gained enough trust then its up to you how you go about it.

well it depends on what positions are advertised really, but you then may find the person whom wants it may be all fine and lovely whilst waiting to gain your trust...then change when they have it. I may be overly cautious but i made a good few mistakes like that when i first had my forum over a year ago, i still prefer to wait to get toknow them just as they are, then go from there.

Thats the thing its always up to the Admin to make the choice, or the user can just stay as a normal member. The whole concept of this is for interactions with members that have certain attributes that can be helpful to other Admins who own forums. This way its easier to locate people who are good at soemthing as this site has 5000members+
