Embedding You Tube clips

Hi i do not know if you r allowed to embed You Tube clips or Esnips Mp3 songs onto my forum, but I have tried embedding my own personal You Tube clips onto my forum, & Esnips audio clips, but when i click preview the video or Esnip audio is there but then when i send it & it goes onto the board all i see is the embeded code & no video or audio, what do i do there. i have the HTML on in my profile but when i am writing a message, it says the HTML code is off, i don't know if that is anything to do with it, i am a bit of a novice at the moment, please help

Id tell you how to turn the HTML on and stuff. But first, just in case, let the Juridical people say if its aloud.

About Youtube, I know you can have a link to the clip, but an embed is not allowed.

He does it on his site, he's not allowed it, there's a slight difference
The only way you're allowed to is:
- To be the owner of the video
- To have the explicit allowance to do so from the author
- To have eventually have paid rights to do so

I am the owner of the videos, i have said that before, i will not use anybody elses + i have permission from the artists for the Esnips audio tracks.

Well, I think this rule needs to be changed. This is probably why ProBoards is suceeding past Forumotion. Everyone embeds videos on their proboards. Now I am only experimenting with the software. But so far, I am stilling thinking ProBoards is the better deal of it all.

Well they haven't got in trouble yet and I do not think they're going too seeing that YouTube gives an embedded code anyways with every video there. Plus, it's the uploaders responisblity to decide if they want it disabled, seeing that you could disable the embedding code.
It's not just ProBoards, InvisionFree, SMF, and other pHp hosting services allow member to embed YouTube videos on their forums. This is the first provider I have seen that doesn't allow this.

I am sure somebody can find out, i have HTML switched on & i still can't do it, that's what embedding is for, messageboards, blogs & websites, it's crazy

Well ProBoards and InvisionFree I believe have been around longer then Forumotion, I think they know a little bit more about the law. I asked one of the heads are ProBoards and he said that it wasn't illegal to embed YouTube videos on exteral websites/forums.
Quite frankly, I do not see how it is a law when YouTube offers you an embedding code right next to the video.

Forumotion has decided to change it's policies conerning Youtube and Dailymotion videos, plus 2 new tagsconcerning these will sonn be availiable

The title says everything. I cannot reverse the FFXIII clips in Sony Vegas. The clips are from shewolf.
