Moderators should be able to change the post author. It can come in handy sometimes for an example when you want to reserve the second post of a thread but another member posts before you do. You could just change the post author to make it your post.
Or maybe if somebody created 2 users and you just found out, you could make all of their posts written by one user and delete the other one.
so what do you think?

From my point of view, that would be like steal posts...
In addition, I think only the Founder could do that...
Anyway, I wouldnt like that forum founder change the authory of a post Ive made some time ago...

Hopefully won't get abused. But even if the founder does abuse the feature, it will be at their own cost, nobody will like their forum because they think their posts are being "stolen", then the site looses activity then the founder has to work hard to make their forum more active.

Why indeed it is a great idea (something that I would use if featured)
I still have the faint idea of stealing another authors perfectly forged post.
Not to mention the complaints that could be received from staff of the forum stealing their posts and claiming them as their own.
As I said it is a good idea, but there is really no point behind it that is legitimate to really make the feature available, maybe with a little more thought on how it could be helpful might do the trick.

I don't agree with this, it might be considered as stealing one's post, most of the members on a forum wouldn't like this feature also. ~ Voted No
