[Suggestion] Area in the admin panel to insert BBCodes

Hi everyone.

I come to make a suggestion which I think could be useful for Forumotion forums.

Could put an area in the admin panel so that they can add further BBCodes through a section with the name (for example) Custom BBCodes.
Thus making it easier to place scripts and other content at the time you post a message.

Let me explain:
(the images that I made, I choice to put option Custom BBcode in the Messages, MP, E-mails)

::When we clicked on the option Custom BBCode would appear (as shown in the picture) the BBcodes we already have in the forum.

::Clicking Add New BBcode, would open a window where we were going for the "instructions for the code"

Instructions for the code
Spoiler:

Use of BBCode

Code:[wiki]{TEXT}[/wiki]

Replacing the HTML
Code:<input class="button2 btnlite" type="button" value="Wiki: {TXT}" onclick="window.location.href='http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/{TXT}'"/>

Helpline
Code:Wiki:
[wiki]Search word[/wiki]

after the instructions are stored, a button will appear in time to post the
messages as those that already exist, but with the function to search for a word that we want in Wikipedia

Example:

::And down by the window to the instructions could put a caption like this:

If you need ask for images in english.

Please if you like this topic help by divulging it.
Thank you all.

I voted yes as well. This is a very useful option for other phpbb forums, and it would be very useful here.

Also, I switched via the ACP to phpbb2, and STILL don't see an option to add a bbcode(s). Hence, I came, I want, I voted!

Is there any chance this will be done?

This has been suggested before, but since you went through the trouble to explain how it could work I'll vote yes.

Some suggestions can take months or even years to get implemented.

I don't see the need for places to implement BB codes on ACP?
Why? We can add/insert BB codes on idex page welcome messages, so technically it seems to be already possible - ok that BB code transforms to HTMl... so what ?

no, you didn't understand my suggestion. you can not add bbcodes right now, you only can use the codes that already exist (like spoiler, wow.. etc).

this option will let you add new bbcodes that not exist, for example you create a custom code to search a word in wikipedia, and the code will be [wiki]your word[/wiki]

and will be seen like this:

understand now?

Thank you LH Justin, I search for this suggestion but I don't find, so i create this topic.

You can't add new bbcodes ! The only solution is to vote in this poll Wink

So, what do you think? Same like Admin CP, just less features! For exapmle, you have GFX Mod, and he will have only Styles in his "Moderator CP"!
So I promoted the member to rank of admin, she logged out and back in. Her profile says admin but she can't see the link suggestions?
I trust some people to do as i tell them, provided there isn't anything they can mess with and break so when i want a certain person to create a forum for me when i'm busy it can only be an admin instead of a mod, There should be maybe two or three
