Post Counter for phpBB3 and phpBB2

Hey everybody,

I think it'd be a nice feature to add a post counter to phpBB3, like punBB and Invision have. Next to each post made on a topic you can see the "1, 2, 3...". I find this quite helpful when you need to tell somebody where they can find something.

phpBB3 and phpBB2 still don't have it. Wouldn't it be nice to have it? Please vote Wink

Yeah, I've always liked the post counter thing on punBB. It'd be nice for phpBB3 to have it , but I could care less about phpBB2. Razz

Voted yes, because it sounds cool -- but I don't know what you're talking about -- don't use PUNBB

I just don't like phpBB2 because it's horribly outdated.

It puts a number on your post. Like if it's the second post in the thread, it has a 2 in the top of the post.

I don't really see how this is useful

But I can see the point in having different forums versions proposing the same features, so I'll vote Yes Smile

P.S: LH Justin, phpBB2 might be terribly outdated, but some of us are nostalgics

I already have that feature on my phpbb3 forum. And it's developed with............ the usual JavaScript. Razz

Very useful when my moderators need to refer to a certain post.
