Would you like Forumotion to make our forums to have the ability to be under construction more than a day ?

Many times there is a problem so we have to display a message to the members that sais UNDER CONSTRUCTION.In other words to go to the Admin Panel>General>Configuration>Under Construction.But this feature is available to be On only for 24 hours.So as the title says..... Would you like our forums to have the ability to be under construction for the time that we want and not only for one day ? It would be better not to be a time limit, wouldn't be ?

Yeah, but you have to select some other options to make it work. It's really quite confusing.

agreed, either make it simpler by have tick boxes maybe like a set of hours
2-5-10- etc and one for days 2-5-7- and so on

I think this should be a must have
i know that some times i shut my site for work to be done or test updates the site gets b4 i let the members see them so i think having a box that you can tick to stop that or just have a part you can put a time and date in would be nice or count down clock you can set to what ever you like.

i some times forget i have closed the site down to do stuff and then some one Emails me saying why is te site still closed lol

so yes it has my vote.

I recently had to go under construction for about 2.5 days... I had to keep logging in when I should be sleeping just to wait for the exact minute it would end so I could extend it! Shit

Voted Yes. It's unlikely that I would need it "under construction" for more than a day - but there's always a chance that unforseeable problems might arise & could need longer to work on the maintenance.

shouldn't it just stay under construction until you turn it off? the site isn't going to fix itself while an administrator is away and when they are done they can switch it back off but maybe have a banner at the top to remind them that the forum is under construction(voted yes i like the idea)

Lets say your working on your site templates/css then you have to go an do real life stuff, the day comes to an end then your forum allows users to see your unfinished work..

Not good, so for this reason I have voted YES
