Hosting Flash SWF Files

I think we should be able to host SWF files on our site. I have no where to upload my SWF files to embed on my site so this feature would be extremely helpful for me and others who wish to embed SWF files on their sites and have no where to host them. Here is some things we can use SWF files for:

  • Video Games
  • Flash Banners
  • Flash Avatars
  • Awesome Flash introductions page
  • Flash navigation buttons
  • Flash site layout (this would take a lot of coding)
All this and much more if we had more capabilities of hosting SWF files on the site directly. Please vote and tell me what you think of this.

Well, SWF files tend to be a little big, the reason you don't find many free hosts for them. I think you can host them on deviantART.

Yeah, why not add this to Servimg, the image host partner to ForuMotion Smile

I don't think deviantART host SWF images. People were complaining on their forums about how SWF files werent uploading.

They do.

So I take it you've tried it yourself and it worked?

No, but there's tons of flash games and flash videos on deviantART.
