This feature has been suggested many times by my staff, and I feel it will be a very powerful and useful tool.
There needs to be a way to make it so when a certain member posts, there post/topic will automatically go to the basket/ forum of your choice.
Example:
Some members like to curse, So I added a "Under Moderation" forum that only moderators can see.
So when that members submits a new topic/post, it goes into the under moderation forum, before it can be moved into general public.
There is also a couple of members that I don't trust posting, And I want there post to be checked out before they are moved into general public.
Still confused?
If your still confused about this feature, all it will do is move a certain members new post/topics into the forum of your choice no matter where they submit it.

I'm not talking about pruning.
Please read EVERYTHING so you understand.

If you don't trust the member ban them or restrict their permissions. Voted no, this is a waste of time.

I'm not a ban happy admin like yourself.

It has nothing to do with being "ban happy". If you aren't going to allow a member to post then why keep him on your forum?Leaf wrote:LH Justin wrote:If you don't trust the member ban them or restrict their permissions. Voted no, this is a waste of time.

I want them to post, I just want to READ there posts before the public can see them.

Make a forum that only a certain usergroup can see and make them only able to post in that forum. When you log on you can read that topic and move it to the appropriate place.Leaf wrote:LH Justin wrote:It has nothing to do with being "ban happy". I find that too complicated.

Well now that I see what is for exactly I want to vote no. That is kind of pointless imo. Thing I think would be cool is if you could post a poll and have a time limit on it, lets say two weeks and if the poll results in yes then it goes to a specific thread and post something automatically. I run a clan forum and when we have applicants we put a poll in the private section to see if they make it in or not. After two weeks we go post it but sometimes people forget to and it takes a while so what I wish is that it would go post they made the clan or they didnt.

How will you move a topic to a forum when you're offline?
This will automatically move a topic, and a staff member checks it, sees it's OK and moves it to correct place. Do you want people to be even lazier and to just press "Approve" button (even though this isn't available yet)?
