Forum Permissions Control is not versatile enough in my opinion.
Here is my problem as example. I have few groups with rights bigger than member have. BUT for 1 of the forums i need to restrict permissions of 1 group (lets call it group "X"): i want to take away permission to reply while "member" still must have it. This cant be done now because any group inherit all member permissions and i cant uncheck group rights if member is checked. I tried different thing then: created 1 more group with 0 post autosubscribe, unchecked member and group "X" and checked this new one. But it's still not fixing the problem cuz after each post member of group "X" gives permission to reply again inhereting new group rights.
There are 2 ways to fix it:
1. Make group permissions to be NOT bound to member permissions so u can freely check whatever u want for particular group.
2. Turn off inhereting permissions from all previous groups so that user gives permissions ONLY from the group with the highest priority that he belongs to.
2nd way seems to be better.
Please, vote. I rly need this thing.
Thanks.

There should be a way to make new topics in certain categories have to be approved. The admin could chose in the ACP which categories the new topics have to be approved in. This would be very very very helpful for my site and more!
