Evanescence Forum

Graphics & Layout - Rating: Average

I'll start with the graphics of the forum, starting with the major graphics, I'd say that the banner is brilliant, it seem to represent the whole forum and it's subject since I see most of the pic of the girl on the banner on most parts of the forum so it's a good idea to place it there in the first place, it's colors and quality is brilliant, I liked the combination of the colors specially, the fonts are also brilliant so overall, nice work with the banner, for the navigation bars, for me, it also looks a bit nice however not that good enough, I mean it looks simple enough not to be noticed by a guest, At first, i thought it was an ad, I suggest having a more stylish navigation bar for your forum since the forum looks really 'girlish', Now for the minor graphics, about the images on each forums on the index, for me, nothing's wrong with them, I just don't get why you have repeating image of the girl on the forums, but I don't mind, it looks good though, for the forum icons, they're fine too, however, I noticed that your 'no new post' icon is too dark and almost not seen which makes the index look a bit blank/under construction, try a lighter one but not lighter for your 'new post' icon, try to fix that out, The 'who is online?' icon is fine for me too.

The lay out & organization of the forum is great, the portal seem to look nice too and organized, the colors on the forum seem to fit well for the subject of the forum, so I guess that's fine, the background blends well to the forum too, so nothing wrong here, nice work.

Forum Activity - Rating: Average

From the index view, The activity of the forum is considered great enough considering that there are new posts and members that are logging each period, so that's a nice first impression about the forum's activity, although there's more forums that are considered inactive or there's no new post posted on it in the past 2 days or so, so try building up activity on those forums to increase the popularity of the forum, that should attract you more guests, analyzing the activity,1488 posts for 84 members is not a quite good achievement of the forum, you should have atleast 3,500 posts by now, but that's just normal, as I'd mentioned, try posting new topics to increase activity, for the users activity, I can see that there are several members logged in the past 99 hours which is a good result, keep promoting and keep up the activity to retain and improve your activity.

Staff & Usergroups - Rating: Average

There are only 2 groups, which includes 'Administrator' & 'Moderator' group, that's a good set or amount of groups when you don't really need some of more groups to suit the forum so I think that's fine, no need of adding more mod groups unless needed. SO that's fine. One thing that I did noticed is that the color of the groups is almost the same with the forum's color, try different colors so that the staff members are more noticable on the legend.

I can see that you're the only admin, though it's the right amount for now for the activity of the forum so I don't think you need more admins, so retain that amount, 2 moderators which is also fine for the size and activity of the forum so I don't think you need to increase them.
