Your forum uses a broad contrast of graphics, some of which do not fit in with your forums theme, and mood. Starting with your banner... Typically you'd want a banner to fit in with the header, so it blends and looks like a part of the forum, however yours does not, furthermore, Green on gray crashes, and makes the text somewhat hard to read. Also, try making the height of the banner a little bit bigger because it looks really flat which doesn't look good.

The next thing I noticed was your favicon image. It's plain and boring. Something that might help you is a nice image, one from Iconspedia might help you. Next on the list is your navigation bar. It works and it pretty sweet, but the only problem I have with it is that the text under the Title for each image is too transparent and too small. If you make it less transparent then people can actually see what it says. Forum Icons: They're cool, but they don't really fit with your forum theme, It's a gaming forum, so why not have some Icons on gaming systems or a game controller? Something creative would be very nice for your forum,(They're fine) and my other suggestion is to make it less dark, too much gray isn't too good.

Finally is your who is online image, it's rather small, and doesn't fit. I recommend that you assign one of your graphics crew to make an image for you, suck as a game console with text on the side saying: Who is online, et c.

Also, some of your forums are out of place. I think that you should make a category for arts, and post all of the writing, graphics et c there, instead of all of them being scattered around the forum.
