Nature of the Creation: Logo already created but can't get rid of background
Size (In Pixels): 239x129
With or Without Animation: Without
Main Colors: Gold/White
Pictures & Links: Link back to homepage
Text to Insert : As per existing logo
Font (Provide Download Link): As per existing logo
Font Color: As per existing logo

Extra Comments: Hello ! We already have a logo which we are very happy with. However, because of our background which stays static, the logo shows the box that it is in. If you have a look at our front page you will se what I mean, you can see the edge box of the logo. However when we try to change this it doesn't work and you can still see the outline. Is there a way to have the logo and text without a background/transparent background so you can see the forum background through it ? Or is there some other way ?
We have PhotoShop CS3 extended if it can be done in there - but when we don't have a background then save it, the background becomes white on the forum.
I really appreciate any good responses as we have been trying to sort this for the last five months without any success !!!

I am so sorry, I mean the logo, not the shop banner - but could you tell me how you did that hoodedwarbler12 as I think that would look nicer than what we have !!
If you look at at the logo, the bit with the outline of a boat and where it says SEALINE forum.co.uk you can see its on a plain blue background, but the forum background isn't plain and looks messy. What I would really like is to just have the logo and wording on the forum background.
Thanks so much for your help so far....

Thanks so much !
I have Photoshop CS and I think I've caught up with you. I have been using JPeg files which always put a white background in, but you used a PNG file which doesnt !
Thanks for solving - very much appreciated and thanks to hoodedwarbler too !

Hey All,
I am back. YAY! Anyway, I simply need the following image to have a transparent background. I have no idea how do it on GIMP, so if someone would kindly do it for me, that would be really appreciated.

Thanks.
During the BBC interview at Glasto, Guy commented that he had seen / was going to see a band that reminded him of the first time he saw/heard the Pixies. Can anyone tell me what this band was?
