I think it would be cool if each group could have there own page. The group mod could update events and stuff on the page while the others can post info or see recent group news. And it will only be accessable by the group.

Vote yes if you like it Razz

I think I don't agree about that , that's make the forum more mess and is not very be fair , that is can also make your forum more laggy.

Lol, how can it make it laggy? I honestly think that anything u add with add to the lag and this is just another idea. Not very fair? I don't understand that, it wont effect the members in the groups negatively just positively... Thirdly, Mess? How can that make your forum messy? It will actually add to the organization of your forum.

We can sort of do this already by setting permissions for specific forums. I have 6 such 'categories' set up where only each group can see their own. (I see all 6 because of being admin, tho.) You could set up html pages, but mods wouldn't be allowed to alter them, unless you made them admins, too.

I like your suggestion, but think it would require alot of extra bandwidth and tons more coding to impliment. I'm sort of at the 'dunno' stage right now. If there are further arguments for it with examples of how it could be set up easily, I'd vote yes for it. But right now, there are so many other issues the techies should be working on, I'd hate to take them away to work on something that sounds a bit more complicated. :S
