GFX Freeze

First Impressions - Rating: Excellent

My first impression was rather disgusting, reason being I was using Internet Explorer. I changed over to Chrome and I noticed rounded corners and drop shadow which was really nice. What would be better would be if your usergroups show on the main page, instead of having to be in /usergroups.forum.

Graphics & Layout - Rating: Excellent

The graphics and layout on this forum just astounded me. The header is very creative, a long with the background images and the imageset in general. The border of the side (with rounded corners) is really nice and makes the forum look more modern. May I suggest a change in color on the mouseover tables (the forum's name and description, the amount of topics in the forum, amount of posts in the forum).

Forum Activity - Rating: Good

From what I see, the chatbox seems to always have a few participants. The forum's posting is very steady which is okay, too much means spam and too less means not enough. The people registered as to the message's posted, however, is not steady at all. 2955 messages isn't enough for 115 users (including myself). Perhaps a promotional system will encourage your users to post more.

Staff & Usergroups - Rating: Good

There are only three usergroups that actually contain members. Moderator, Global and Administrator, assuming all the different moderators are just orderly put into one group. You should perhaps find someone you trust to become an admin alongside you as it helps to have a helping hand when you're not around. Also some Global Moderators, perhaps your current moderators (all-sections) could become global and you hire more (all-section) moderators.

Originality & Unique Quality - Rating: Good

The forum has a nice originality, for example the moderators part in the category name, i.e. Introduction

Moderator: Dash, mparkex

The forum also has nice original graphics which a lot of graphic forums I see use graphics from this forum's gallery or proposal section, which is really quite funny. I like the rounded corners as they give GFXFreeze a modernized look.
