Provide option for setting longer than 24 hours maintenance

Typlo kindly replied to a query I made on the other "support board".
When configuring site closure for maintenance, I agree that up to 24 hours is usually well long enough for this. But there might be occasions when you would like to close it for 2 or 3 days, or maybe even longer, if want to do a major sort out/update before re-opening it.
It would be good to have the option of a longer period without having to worry that the Forum had become active in a state of disarray, whilst you were sleeping, or offline for any other reason. (which once happened to me before when I thought my 24 hours wouldn't have timed out yet
)
so I'll add a Poll to this effect and see what others think

Yes maintenance mode will only be activated for 24 hours, but you can repeat the process as much as you wish every day

again good thinking.. yes for one more time... maybe WE could choose how much time... from 1 to 7 days for example..
