Extra Comments:
Looking for something sleek, smooth, inviting, and somewhat obvious that we're a Family Forum.
My forum is a Women/Mother/Parenting forum, but we wanted to be creative and stand out from all the other family forums, so we decided on the name The Cheesecake Club (sort of a play off of the Breakfast Club... get it?) but I started to get concerned that new members seeing our current banner (located here) may not get who we are.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
And thanks!

I have some question..can i replace the maid? to another maid?
5 Hillary.Reist, on 30/03/2011 at 19h41
Unfortunately, no. We have permission from the artist to use Muffin, who is our forum's mascot.
However, we do have a picture in the making of Muffin who is pregnant with children.
Edit: Located here It hasn't been inked or coloured, obviously, but the artist is planning on painting it sometime soon.

I really like it, but the margins aren't correct, and there are white spots in where the flood colour didn't catch.
This is really amazing otherwise.
Edit: I showed this to my fellow staff members, and they all really like it, aside from the aforementioned issues above. However, one member did mention the big empty space in the center of the banner. Perhaps put a pattern or an image of a cheesecake in the center?

ah the margins: i kept the width same, but reduced the height. i can make it same size as required but it wont look as nice.
the big space in the center: ah that can be fixed.. i added that patter on center-left for the very same reason that there was nothing much there.
will post a edited version soon
PS: sorry been busy with my exams

Oh gotcha.
You can leave the margins your way then if you like.
I can't wait to see how this looks!

ok this is the current progress :
i went with your cheesecake idea, but in center it was looking odd, so i discarded the pattern ..
now i'm not sure to add something or what in the center.. or just leave it be
i'm worried adding something in the middle may become hosh posh.. clean is how i like banners

I do really like that, and I agree with you. It sucks that something can't go there, but you're right, it may look too cluttered if there's something there.
Thanks so much!
Would you also be able to do a "Whose Online?" image? Or are you too busy with your exams right now? Because if you are, you don't need to worry about it.
Edit: One of my admins brought up the concern about, since that's a real image of a cheesecake, that there may be not only copyright issues (where did you get the image?) and since Muffin is a cartoon, and the cheesecake isn't, it doesn't exactly flow perfectly, ya know?
Just a suggestion.

these days pictures unless of people, or whole themese and buttons stuff are really hard to decide who owns it
http://www.paper-rain.org/2009/fancy-some-cheesecake/
this is the site i got it from.. its a recipe site, i kinda sure they dont own that pic
instead that pic is from some magazine.. given its quality.
and there are no watermarks or any copyright mark on it.. so its more or less doesn't matter.

Oh, lol, that's fair enough.
Do you have a program, like photoshop, to cartoonize it?
