A forum is somewhere where someone can take sanctuary from the outside world. A place where someone can relax in a warm place; and one thing I don't get is that everyone takes a black theme. I go against black themes highly, because there is always the opportunity for the text to be in bright colors and hurt the eyes, and this is a prime example here; because the textreally hurts my eyes. I always reccommend having a warm color shade, other than black. However, because this is a harry potter forum I see how it can be a dark color and somewhat work, however I'd think more of a better color would be blueish. Banner: Two words that come to mind when I see your forum banner are as follows: Obtrusive and oversized. There are always the forums that I visit that have the huge height banners, but the too small width banners. Your banner has colors that fit the overall theme and the edges of it seem to be black so that they merge together, however what I suggest doing is having the banner be more wide than it is tall. This way, people can see your forum without having to scroll, and believe it or not this actually helps.

Forum Images: I like how most of your images have the dark feel to them to make the gloomy effect, however they are saved as Jpegs, so it saves it into layers instead of them being blended. Also, your forum images don't really relate to harry potter; and I dont even know what they are. Finally, the images inside your forum are terrible, because many of the thread images are the forumotion originals, and so they ahve the ugly white border when they're put on darker backgrounded forums.

Background: I suggest getting a lighter background or gradiented brown to black forum image. You can do this by making a brown to black gradient and then using the CSS property background-attachment:fixed; to make it stay on the page.

Other: I like how your forum has plenty of places to post in, and that all members seem to post in many of the forums alot. I suggest having a few maybe 'packages' done, so that when people join your fourm there are more places to go to and read, so they can get a feel for the place that they're about to join.

I would like to congratulate you for the activity on your forum. It's not often that I come across a forum where there are many people that are online at a time, and this forum has that. I also like the post to user ratio. With 257729 messages between 495 users comes out to an average of 520 posts per user which is amazing, because many of the websites that I review have a ratio of about 2 or 3 posts per user; and this is a very good job on your part. Keep this up as you're doing great.

Admins - 6: I don't think that 6 admins is a good amount for a small forum of your size; as it is so small, there are not many people that you can trust. I'd suggest keeping this group ASAP (as small as possible) so that you can make the most of the admins that you have.

It seems that you have been using the Admin group as a moderator group, which isn't good, because some admins probably aren't trustworthy enough to be a full admin on the board. I'd suggest just making them a moderator until you either have more members or can trust everyone in the Admin group.

I suggest making the Graduates color darker, it hurts my eyes.

Many of your images aren't original, for instance the Website and PM buttons, aswell as the forum images that are original to Forumotion. I like however, that you have made your own banner, and sidebar images; I've also seen other forums on this subject. However, overall your forum has done a good job! Thanks for requesting.
