Topic alert icons not changing

the topic icons on the main page do not change when there are new posts in the forums.

I have just put this forum together and I cant seem to get this aspect working correctly, any help would be appreciated

yah they dont change when there is a new post but there change when there are new TOPICS i have this same issue with my forum but i dont know about others

I absolutely need it to work when there are new posts.

I am a member of another board, and in that the icon changes when there are new posts in a forum. I built my forum from the free forum link on that other forum main page!

I found and repaired the issue, it was in the Skins css
