 First Impressions - Rating: Average
Moving text always attracts my attention, however maybe yours moves a little too quick. Your homepage announcement system scrolls too quickly for anyone to read it. I reccomend making it slower to about a scroll speed of 20 - 25 pixels. I think that some other things upon first look could be changed too, such as: The text in your sidebars, the gray text goes along with the gray background and almost blends in. I don't think this is good since it's impossible to read! i see you also added Ads, and I don't know why. I can see to get money but forumotion gives the same amount of ads, and so if there's no money involved i find it semi-pointless. I think that also having widgets on both sides of the forum restricts the width of the forum itself, so maybe having them all on one side would be better.

I like how you use images for each of your forums, however i see that they are a little big. I think that you could reduce the width to make them better. Knowing Yu-gi-oh, I can tell which images you're using for what, and I like how your category images use the same pot in different colors, however moving to your banner I dislike the closeness of the two colors, but I like you having the dragon in it. I dislike the forum icons for your forum, as they come with the theme and are unrelated. I think that you can in some way make them better so that they fit better with the theme of your forum in whole. Other than this you've done an awesome job in your layout of your forum. I think that with a little tweaking it could be perfect, and I know that some of it relies upon the limitation of the themes' colors on the forum.

I think for having 6 registered users online at one time your forum is doing great. However, for having almost 400 members having about 20 in the last 24 hours isn't too good and could be improved. To have a really active forum you need something unique to keep members coming back, maybe you guys should add something really unique that you can go off of to keep them from leaving. I think that doing a Mass email with updates once in a while might remind some people that they're missing out on some things. I think having a warmer theme that's not so hard on the eyes might do some good too, something easy to look at for prolonged periods of time might help.

I've seen other forums like yours in places, and some of them have more members and better designs. I think that if you have something completely original to your forum you might get some new members that hang around for a while. Hopefully you also get some members who can make a loop, advertising for you on different places so that you can get more members. Change up some images and you may hit the spot on a good forum.
