EDIT

Prestige Ready Gaming Community

I'm going to be reviewing your forum with Windows XP latest & updated version of OS, 1680 x 1050 pixels resolution and Mozilla Firefox 5.0 web browser (I see that you prefer Firefox for browsing your forum, so be sure the review will be on a high level of quality).
I also want to say that I haven't meant to be rude, or insult you or your form by writing this review. I just wanted to point out flaws and mistakes that, by my oppinion, should be corrected or replaced. So, no rudenes and insulting of any kind intended.

First Impressions - Average

When I opened the tab, my first impression was: black, green and moving things around. Firstly, the login pop-up follows me, the marquee news text is moving, latest topics are moving & the earth thingy is moving. Lots of moving for a static forum. You surely don't want to leave an impression that visitor should browse fast. I think that you can make the text visible more if you bold, color or increase height, than moving it around. Beside that I have the impression that forum is too wide, despite the widgets. There is a lot of emtpy space in the forums' descriptions, so you should make it less wide so it can fit perfectly. I can also say that Firefox button is too big and distracting visitor from the main topic of the forum. You can narrow it down a bit. I was pleasantly surpristed with Twitter feed, so keep up with that, it's good. I'll discuss the details later. Anyway, you now know where should you put your efforts on, so you can improve the first impression.

Graphics & Layout - Poor

As of the desing, it's not on a good quality level. Firstly, the forum is too wide so you don't have the space for getting your backgound shown off. Second, your logo is just a plain text written with modern font. It should contain some icon or your logo so the people can recognize the forum easier (You can clearly say that you've seen McDonalds, Playboy, Skype, or Apple if you see their logo - you don't need text), so make it yourself or hire a friend/designer to do it. Navigation is good, I've seen it in one of the galleries somewhere, but it has gap between home page and FAQ. It can be sorted out easy, just search the navigation problem here and you'll find the solution for it. As I said, the Firefox button is too big, make it smaller or use a new one (FF website has very good ones for users to share & use). I'm not delighted with icons because: - they're folders (old Microsoft, not so original), and - they're yellow, so they don't fit well into the whole forum design. I think you should search the websites like iconfinder or findicons and find a new & better ones. As I said before, the planet thingy is not a good choice, because it's a code from another website (slows down your forum) and it doesn't have some qualitative purpose. All in all, you should think about redesigning your forum or improving every design aspect of it.

Forum Activity - Very Poor

Since the forum exists for a few months, I can say that activity is way below good. I mean, 130 registered users is fine number, but only 369 messages? Considering that admin has written a good amount of it, I can clearly say that many of the members don't have any posts at all. You should activate the members more by doing aggressive advertising campaign on the other forums, online directories or similar. You should also think of something innovative that will make your forum news unique, some interesting category or gaming review column. Also, you should do banner exchanges or link exchanges with other forums so people can know about your forum more. I also see that some of forums don't have any posts or topics at all, so my suggestion is, if you don't have idea of adding any topics, you should temorarily delete them untill you have enough time or resources to do it.

Staff & Usergroups - Poor
I am not allowed to view the usergroups as Guest, neither as the member. So I can't judge much about this section, but I can clearly say that staff is pretty much the main posting community here. Very little amount of members, or maybe no one, have posted on the forums. Your staff is numerous, but for this amount of activity, your staff office is overcrowded. Too many people for too little job to do. You should clearly make the staff list with less people and more obligations. Nobody does anything in particular to help forum improve, so you should collect people you trust to and try working with them.

Originality & Unique Quality - Very Poor

In general, forum is not so original. There are vast of Gaming Communities worldwide, so if you want to be on top, you should improve a lot. And work hard. Your primary goal is to have enough confidence and faith in success, the rest will come with time. Quality is also your very bad side, because you don't offer anything that can be enough quality and original to be worth visiting. So, prepare for changes. Do your best
