Battle City Revolution
I'm going to be reviewing your forum with Windows XP latest & updated version of OS, 1680 x 1050 pixels resolution and Google Chrome web browser. I also want to say that I haven't meant to be rude, or insult you or your form by writing this review. I just wanted to point out flaws and mistakes that, by my oppinion, should be corrected or replaced. So, no rudeness and insulting of any kind intended. Also, forgive me my gramatic and tense mistakes, I'm not a native English speaker, it's my second laguage and still improving it.
First Impressions - Excellent
Graphics & Layout - Excellent
Forum Activity - Poor
Staff & Usergroups - Good
Originality & Unique Quality - Excellent

First Impressions - Excellent
- By visting the forum I was pleasantly surprised. I was instantly flooded with a wave of minimalist, simplicity, and adequate organizing. Everything looks very nicely packaged, in its place, and very readable. The background with dark hues higlights the body of the forum, which with a combination of blue and white gives a professional look. Header is very simple, it makes space for forum logo and maskot, which is a big plus.Navigation is also very minimalistic and professional, especially including the hover effect. Sections are well combined, with appropriate descriptions, and icons that contribute to the dynamics of the entire forum. What can disturb the eye is the lack of topics in two sections, but it is quick intervention to resolve. For today's standards, the forum has a very good number of members, while the number of messages is very small compared to the members. It can be changed with active advertising. The legend is quite decent, admins and moderators, so classic and so well-organized. The choice of colors is very good, and as for forum topic in general, I am not really into the statistics of how the Yu-Gi-Oh is worldwide popular, but the overall number of members says it is. All in all, the impression is very positive, keep it up.
Graphics & Layout - Excellent
- I will start with the background - very simple, dark hues and wonderful patterns, which highligts the forum body. Header is of the right height and rounded edges are trendy. The colors are great, especially the emphasis on a shade of blue. The white is the standard for body and improves readability, so you hit the bull's eye. Navigation is simple, and the hover effect is great, but I have an advice for it. Namely, as I know the man who made the theme on which your skin is based, I know you did not use CSS Sprites. Therefore, it takes a few moments while hovering for the hover effect picture. To prevent this, people use CSS Sprites. So, if you know CSS, find a little more about sprites, itll be a lot of help. Colors of the body are good, but I would suggest that the pink link hover should be replaced with the blue one. Great icons depict each section, as description of each, too. WIO is simple, I like it. In general, a very good forum with a few minor graphical things to improve.
Forum Activity - Poor
In opposite of the number of members (192), the number of posts is very small (2733). Doing the math says that forum has about 14 posts per member, but when you break down the number of posts made by admin (600 +), it means that the activity is very poor. I do not know if it depends on the topic (as Yu-Gi-Oh is not active in all countries, or may already be out of trend) or the proper advertising, but I think that you should do a more active advertising, especially in YGO-related sites and forums . Exchanging banners, links, references and all that can make wander visitor to visit your forum, which simply entices a person to registerer, first with its design, and probably the content.
Staff & Usergroups - Good
- 2 admins and 3 moderators for this activity is too much, especially if you can see only one moderator loggen in the last 99 hours. I think the forum can be lead by both administrators well with one moderator maximum. At least hile it does not get populated and visitors hear more about it. The groups are simple, the colors fit into the rest of the forum. Rules are clearly stated and effective, I hope they are respected.
Originality & Unique Quality - Excellent
- The forum is very original and simply designed. It gives us a dose of seriousness and originality, and probably uniqueness, though I believe that it is neither the first nor the last in the Yu Gi Oh world. In general, advertising has it all, the rest is just a well done, so there is no worries. Go keep the work up,. effort will pay off.
