Quick Review - Average

If I was asked to describe your forum in three words, it'd be: Simple, clean, & monotonous. The colors are very simple, grey and blue, and althought are good for the eyes and readability, these colors are not interesting at all. They lack of life and are dull. So, the first thing to start from is changing colors. The header is kind of image collage, but considering it's minimalism, quite good (Maybe bit overshadowed, in my opinion). Navigation bar is default for this theme, so I suggest you to make a new one which will be original and unique for your forum only. Categories and sections are not attractive at all. You should add icons beside the description to make a contrast with grey and white. Also, section descriptions shoud be more detailed, so people can find out what's the section about in a first read. The thing I like about the categories and sections is that they well ordered and organized. Forum icons are boring because they can be seen on any other forum with default phpbb3 theme. The design conclusion is to make your efforts in order to include more originality and unique quality to your forum, not just simplicity. Since the forum excists for about 20 days, activity is average, though you can try more with promotion (banner and link exchanging). I see you have many usergroups but considering your forum subject matter, it's okay. After I've visited portal, I think you should delete the chatbox from it, because you already have chatbox on index. All in all, very young forum which needs promotion and better design to be able to come out from the mass, and be seen and attract visitors. Work on it constantly and you'll succeed.
