addin a latest post scroll bar

hi ive read thru the forum and found a post my problem but i did what the guy said............

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Modules Tab
3. Forum widgets management (on the left, under Portal & Widgets)

Drag and drop the 'Recent topics' widget and save. Smile

and it still soesnt work where am i going wrong please

Did you activate the widgets in the section above the area where you add widgets?

Activate Forum Widgets: [] yes [] no

yes buudy i did notice with ther widgets i have which are search and chat box, the search and chat box widget are highlighted in white and the widget for the latest posts is grey does that help?

Forum Widget Management
There should be a activation option fot the widgets.

By just adding them, it will not activate the module.

Also, they need to have a minimum of 180px. They can be activated, and have zero allocated space, and they won't show up.

Furthermore, if you have set your background, and the forum container with CSS, you may have problems getting them to show up as well (the css will override the sizes you set in widgets management).
