How i make Sub forum?

you just create a forum, then once you have the forum created you will see a green + icon for that forum, then you click on that to add sub forums.

Hey guys i was wondering. I have seen one of my friends forums and they have a forum within a main forum, but on the main page, the forum that is inside that main forum is not seen.
How can I do that? I have been trying to figure that out for some time
I am going to make one for this forum.
