Tried many times by simply adding the flash and the youtube and the Daily Motion tags -- still nothing. Obviously there is a bug with the forum or a code issue -- what is it?

Thank you so much for the quick response. I tried the code and posted it into my blog however all you see in the post is the code, not the video.

that should work.

Hello,

You can not place it like that?

What do you actually want? A video in your post?

Than it would go like this no spaces included
[ youtube ] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EwViQxSJJQ&ob=av2e [ /youtube ]

For the embend:
1. AP > General > Messages and emails > Allow HTML > YES
2. Profile > Prefrences > Allow HTML > YES
3. Option when writting a message this has to be disabled under it http://i.imm.io/8mW2.png

Tried the embed code in prewiev and nothings wrong with it, it is working perfectly fine in posts to. All you need to do is follow these three options and post the code with no tags.

Thanks again but still have the problem! I noticed that HTML is "Off" on the post and I have no way of turning it back on.

Have you done Profile > Prefrences settings, that would block it, make it appeared disabled under posts. If you haven't set it there. Since embed works fine on my forum it should on yours too.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions, at this point I feel stronzo! Is the Profile > Prefrences settings on the Admin page or on the blog panel -- I can't find it.

Profile button should be on the navigation bar.

All you need to do is use the youtube bb code.

just as you would put this:
Code:

[url]www.google.com[/url]

Which give you a URL in your post.

you need to do this for a youtube video:
Code:

[youtube]YOUTUBE VIDEO URL HERE[/youtube]

Unfortuantely there must be something wrong on my end. I changed my profile preferences to allow HTML and yet when I go to post a new message I keep getting

HTML is OFF
BBCode is ON
Smilies are ON

Again I check profile then preferences and see that HTML is selected but when I go to post HTML is off and therefore any code I try does not work.

Thanks for all your help but I've exhausted all attempts and it still will not work. Thanks anyway and again for taking the time to write!

You really want to lock it?

Can you pass me by PM test admin account to try it?

Though I can lock it if you want Confused
