So I was trying to put a forum logo/banner into my forum, but a margin appeared on top of the banner as well as it not being perfectly centered (but I wanted the side spaces removed anyway, so I suppose that doesn't necessarily matter.)
The red arrows point toward the spaces I wish to remove, and the dimensions of the banner within this image are 800 x 250 pixels.
For the centering, I HAVE tried going to Display ---> Homepage ---> Headers and Navigation ---> Page headers ---> Changing "Logo positioning" to center, but it resulted in nothing happening at all.
Next I tried to change the dimensions of the banner to be larger, but this is the end result. The dimensions within this banner are 1100 x 400 Pixels.
This is the URL to my forum, any help would be greatly appreciated. >.<

I do not know for sure if this will help or not. Change the forum's width like to 80% or 90%.

Hmm, I changed it to 80%, and nothing had happened. I then changed it to 50% to see if there would be an extreme change, but everything still looked unchanged.

This was the end result of a banner 800x400. For some reason, the top margin keeps on pushing the banner down... Hmmm. Do you think it could be the theme's fault?
And yes, I did add it there.

It could be a issue with the skin/theme you are using.
I need to ask what forum version are you using?

The forum version is PunBB.
And this was the skin I used.

I am looking at your forum now. It looks like the banner is not really in the right place. I believe it should be in the white area only, not in the black area. I am assuming the black area is the blackground image.

I have also tried placing the logo within the "Header Background Image" section, but nothing appears when I upload the image.
Also, please look carefully at all the screenshots I've included. As the banner size increases, the white area also increases. This happens vice versa, also.

It looks like it is to tall for the location where the forum main logo goes.

Here is the forum without any kind of banner attached.
There seems to be no white space above the menu bar without a banner.
Here is the forum with a banner size of 480x150.

Look at the private message pages, the navigation bar covers parts of the banner.
14 Sunsetswar, on 24/08/2011 at 08h26
Is there a possible way to shrink the navigation bar?

Hi,
Dunno really where are you going with the design. Those blue parts are a photo http://i10.servimg.com/u/f10/14/50/74/75/9txcdu26.png placed in your CSS under #pun-intro whose height is defined also in CSS to 270px. You'd have to do some adjusments there to make it work on punBB.

Do you think it is possible to replace the photo with another photo?
17 Nera., on 24/08/2011 at 08h37
Look ate the bottom edges on the photo I showed you. Unless you know how to make a new photo with them you'll lose the rounded corners on the top of your forum. PunBB is fun to play with but you need some basics.
Give it a try, go to your AP > Display > Colors > CSS and find #pun-intro and replace the photo. Save it so you can return it back if you dont like it. You can add the photo through your AP but you'd have to adjust the height you were now discusing in your CSS.

Adjust the height of the new image or the white section above the navigation bar?
19 Nera., on 24/08/2011 at 08h48
By changing the height there you'll change that space there, it will affect on the position of our logo. Try and will see.
Have to go now.
