admin password not working

I just created a new forum, set it up and then logged out as the admin to view the created forum to be seen by the general public. I went to log back in and it wouldn't accept the password. So... I clicked on Forgot Password and it wouldn't allow it to be sent to the email address I used for the admin account. How can I recover this password and or change it so I can log back in!!!!!

I am being patient but just realized the PM is still in the outbox and not the sent! It's been in the outbox for 3 hours... How long does it stay in there before it's sent?
