Is it possible to make custom fonts "official" for a forum? - phpBB2

Hey,

I hope it's the right place to ask this. Smile What I'd like to know is that when I use the
Code:
[font=][/font]
code in a post on my forum I can make it use custom fonts that I downloaded and installed to my computer. (For example: this should look like Papyrus) It appears right to me, the text takes the font I want, but if I look at the post on a computer that doesn't have the font installed it switches back to the forum's basic and often looks really bad with the other settings I made for my text. Is it possible to somehow upload this custom font - nothing copyrighted of course - to my forum so it appears to everyone the same way whether or not they have it installed on their computer?

Thanks in advance,

~M

No one knows?

Sorry for the double post, but it would be really good to know if it's possible at all. Smile

Nope. If the user doesn't have the font installed on their computer then it won't show.

Rideem is right. However, you could always have a link to, say, microsoft's site where you can download the font Wink

I see. Well, thanks guys. Smile

I'll give links to the fonts then, as the second best thing.
