Hi,

You need to allow pop-up's in your Profile (in navigation) > Prefrences > Display a pop-up window for new private messages : yes

But it has to be enabled in your browser too. If your browser is set to block pop-up's you wont see it.

Take the second script in the second post (there is no need to translate or understand text in the post) and change the image link you'll find in the script to what ever you want and add it to your JS managment (like you did for the buttons change) & mark all pages.

You'll have the same pop-up effect with the possibility of customization.

You can make a PS image and replace the monkey image in the script to display what ever you want.

If it works on my forum it has to work on yours too. Where did you add it? Have you marked all pages? Did you paste the whole script from there not only this I posted here?

Edit: You are aware that it wont work if you are trying to send your self a message cause after you send it FM redirects you to your inbox, it's like you have already read it. You must send the message from an other account or reload the page so you don't land to your inbox if you get what I mean.

It is wrong if you landed in your inbox what's most likely you did. Not to prolong this conversation anymore cause it's difficult for me to explain it in English, make a test account, log on to it and from it send a message to your original account. Then log to your original account and see does the monkey pop out.
