is there any way to let a person into the group without them registering
I have sent an invite to her and she is being rejected saying that the name is already used
there is only one person by her name and she is still being rejected

Is she trying to register or join a group? You have to be a registered member to join an usergroup.

she was invited by me the owner of the group
but when she signs in it is telling her she is already in there and is using the wrong password. she has not received a confirmation email.

Has she check to see if the email is in her spam/trash folder?

If you go into her profile via the ACP and change her password to a temp password ..inform her of the new temp password.. this will let her log in, and when she is logged in she can then change her password in her profile to one of her own choosing Smile

ACP>> users and Groups >>search users ... change the password of the user in their profile here and save Smile

dunno know what is going on but she is not even showing in the group at all
I did a search and it saying no member by that name

she didn't get an email to activate her membership that is probably why

Check ACP Users and Groups>>Inactive users if her name is there... click activate

Also check ACP Users and groups>> users options..new accounts activation...select user and save

Do you think that it would be a good idea to have it set so that you cannot sign up for a forum if you have already signed up with that same IP address. Or you could turn this feature off if you dont want it on.
Is there a way you can track who logged in on the AC?
