Thanks.

Hi, if a member registers and doesn't post then there's not much we can do about it. Razz

Sometimes people are just like that and it's not like you can 'force' them to post. I've seen many members do this, but as long as they're not causing any trouble then I don't see any problems. Smile

I know on my forum, i have some stickies which have some useful information in them on the subject of my forum.
Guests can't see the images in these guides and so i assume people register to read these useful posts and be able to see the images.

On my forum the guests are allowed to post the topics and reply.I did think they feel free with this way but nothing changed or less.As said Base we can force them to post and i agree with. However it is strange to notice the people register as new member and post never.Normally when you're register as member is that you want to post a topic or reply in order to react because you have seen something is interesting.Even if the member post one or two post at least if the person did register it was to react to a post.I don't force any member because every people is free to do what he or she wish.Anyway it's just still strange and we look for a answer sometimes.

Well, we can't do much about it and there is no clear answer really. Wink

Can we consider this solved?

Well if you want to wait for two days just to see after you could consider as solved.

it's called lurking? you have many people that join forums and never do nothing but log in all the time, they are lurkers..

I would set up your (handle user options) to notify members like this.
You can set it up for as many days as you like to Inform, Deactivate or auto Delete members.

Other then that you can always create your own rules and do what you wish for non active members that do not post,

Here is where the options are for Handle users.

Admin panel>User & Groups>Handle Users

Thanks kirk.I didn't know the word lucker.Very interesting to know it.For handle users i did already use for the members who are not active by sending a message but they don't care.
However i thank you for your answer.
