I think that on http://www.hitskin.com that you should be able to make it private when you upload a theme.
Also, able till where you can give only the link for others to see it and it not appear on the search list.
So like if I wanted someone to see my theme and I made it private, then I could give them the link and they could see it, but till where it would not appear on the search list.

But what if someone has lost interest in maintaining/operating their theme? It could still be widely wanted and sought after, but no one would be able to get because the owner wouldn't be providing it anymore.
And some people with malicious intent might just obtain your theme, then re-upload to Hitskin or somewhere else claiming it's their's.
However, I've still voted yes as I think this has good thought into it

True, but some people might want it uploaded, but not shared.

Well, I have tried this (the import theme button). Well, it only works for hit skin. I mean if you google free templates you see a lot and you will see some for forums. Well, if you don't do hit skin forums this don't work. I have seen a lot of better one
