Scrolling not working in Recent Topics Widget

hi there, idk wat happened the Recent Topics Widget stopped scrolling (it used to scroll upwards). I've tried disabling the widget as well as "Activate Topic Scrolling" several times now already bt it isnt scrolling anymore

[ ACP > Modules > Widget ]

It just shows the recent topics as a list (with font larger than what would be if i have disabled the scrolling)
can anyone suggest what could be wrong?

Hello,

You installed any new codes? If so I would check to make sure that you closed your tags.

Thanks for your reply. Well yea i added a new code in ACP > Display > Generalities > Homepage Message > Message content, and then accepted the changes. But after reviewing the changes i decided to remove the code since then the scrolling thing isnt working.
actually i tried to comment it by putting "<! ---" at the beginning of the code and "--->" at the end bt it closed somehow earlier in the code

i cant find where to edit it again since there is no code in the Hompage Message Content.

i have disabled the scroll for the time being since it looks pretty bad when i activate it (the font becomes big and it does not scroll)

as i said i have disabled the scrolling now coz the widget content now looks very bad when I enable the scrolling (the font size increases and it doesnt scroll)

can u plz tell where to check the tags? since i no longer have any code in the Homepage Message. Thank You.

First activate the scrolling.

K i have enabled the scrolling, please check now.

EDIT: Solved, I deleted a Javascript code in "Javascript Code Management" and everything is fixed now. Thanks for your time.

I would however like to know why a code in Javascript Code Management caused this problem, even though it was'nt used anywhere?

Since my problem has been solved you may lock this thread now.
