member cannot access his profile

when one of my members tries to access his profile,he gets this message" Sorry, you cannot subscribe to this forum. Please contact the administrator." i have looked everywhere in the admin section and cannot see where something has been changed.
i need some help with fixing this please

I think the problem is in Admin Panel > user & Groups > Profile... bwi

Mm... I'm thinking about it...

This user is able to see other profiles or he only can't see his own profile?

If so, I don't know exactly what happen, but if the user is not allowed to see any profile, go to APC => Users & Groups => Special Rights => View the profile => Choose whatever you want.

he is a mod,he can see his and other ppl's profiles,he does not have the ability to change or alter his profile

Did you set the permissions up right in special rights? Can you have him change his birthday?
