On my site i have added the name glow to the names of staff but when i use IE the glows dont show up
can any one help me fix this bug

Hi!
I've just visited your forum and it appears that glow names don't work in IE. I've tried using different browsers, Firefox and Chrome, and it appears to be working fine for those.

I also visited your forum using Opera, and the codes worked with Opera.

I assume it's just Internet Explorer not being a very good browser.
It is not cause of that. This for example will work with IE and the usual box shadow wont

IE wont render FM's box shadow for other reasons.

No version of Internet Explorer supports the text-shadow property, so most versions of "glowing" names will not be displayed in IE. As for those created using the box-shadow property...
A couple quick comments. IE9 is a very good browser. Just not on forumotion boards. At least until eToxic gets over their arrogance and removes the META tag they added to disable CSS3 support in IE9. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the folks who own forumotion have intentionally disabled CSS3 support in IE9 on all forumotion boards so that a couple BBcode tags they wrote (and no one uses) will display in IE9!
