Adding "Offline" Image

Hello ForuMotion!
I have a question about how to add an image to the user's profile that says "Offline." When they are offline.
Right now, the "Online" image displays when they are online, and if they are offline, nothing displays. I want to make it so that when they are online the image still displays, but when they are offline, I want a different image to display.
Could this be done in the CSS or JavaScript?
