How long till I get my first 'guest' to register?

So I have created a few accounts and made up some conversation. I was just wondering how long it usually takes until someone else registers. I'm also stumped at where/how I can advertise my forum to get new members. *Ahh!*

Also you should advertise other forums/websites and get advertised by them to get known Wink

I tried advertising on other forums, but I got a warning/infraction -_-

You have to contact an administrator so as to get your forum added on the "friendly sites" or "Partners" section added Wink

You will have to do the same for their forums/websites Wink

Well you dont come here and post your link,
We do not allow this here(It's considered spam). You can go to the forum promotions board and fill out the requirements there and wait for it's approval.

Other then that . word of mouth,
Placing it in forumotion forums directory.
Other web directories, Place a ad in your local newspaper if possible.
Make flyers and pass them out in public places/School to people your forum would appeal to.

Make business cards, or make poster/flyer to hang up in public places, Such as store bulletin boards. Also send the link to your friends on facebook or any other social netowrks you may belong to. email friends,
And continue to add any new post links to them social sites as well.
and have your friends pass the link on and invite people as well.

So thats a few ways

make a small video and place it on youtube and post the video everywhere you can.

You want me to make you a video,
You send me all you can about what your forum is about and the categories your forum has, and any pic's logos slogans and i will see if i can slap a small but nice video to help promote your place.
Of course you will have to upload to youtube or whatever your self.

and send me what kind of background music,

Oh that's only if you have a problem with some sort of appearance problem on your forum so we can go and see. But no biggie Smile
