Try this on the photoshop:
1.Double click the Background Layer in the Layers panel (if its not showing, you'll find it under the Window menu.
2.Click Ok to the box that appears.
3.Adjust the Opacity in the same Layers window. You'll see a checkerboard effect. Try 20% to start.
4.Got to Layers -> Flatten Image to see the result. Undo it and adjust Opacity if its not right.
5.Save Picture.

Its just a transparent background.
I don't know what Rhen is trying to explain but its a lot simpler than that.
When you create a new image on photoshop, you choose a background colour... just click transparent.

Hmm, I still don't get it.

This is not really a Forumotion problem...
Looking at the image, I can tell that the font is Calibri with a light drop shadow or outer glow. If you need to request any graphics, feel free to head over to our graphic design section.

No, it's not that. It is a Forumotion problem.
I want to know how to get that background to go with any background. Like it will work on a black and white background, and not have the ugly white or black around the image.

Its not a forumotion problem. It depends on the image.
