Time limit for editing a post

First I want to say I tried searching, but maybe I did not use the right keywords, so sorry if there all ready is a post about this.

Is it possible to put a time limit on editing posts? Like the user will have a 12 hour window with the possibility to edit ones post, but after that the post will not be editable (did I spell that right? Laughing I did not mean that it can not be eaten anymore Razz)? I've had the problem with "angry" users that go in and remove their posts and ruin the flow in some threads, and I don't want that to happen again. But I don't want to remove the possibility of editing all together, I would just like to limit it to a window.

Does anybody know how to do that? Is it possible? I know it is on other forums, but maybe I need to upgrade or something?

I started a role play forum, and the character limit is far less than that of Invisionfree, the forum software I used previously. I do believe it was 65,000 character limit, while this forums software allows 15,000? Something like that. This smaller
Since we are already limited as to the amount of storage we buy I don't see a need for an additional penalty of time? Plz vote
