Important! Widgets disappeared!

Okay, I think I discovered a bug! So I've always had widgets... I set up the Portal, all was still okay! Then, I say yes to display the Portal... And bang, no more widgets anywhere else! :O Help? Thank you.

best i can tell you is to resynchronize your forum.
acp>general>forum (tick on configuration)> scroll down to misc options and tick the" Check to resynchronize" box> save
If that don't help any then wait for staff to reply. you also might want to provide a link to your site.

What would the effects of resynchronizing be? Thank you.
Also, I can live with the widgets being gone... I think I could find a way to turn the portal into my main page. Maybe.

you have to make sure you have the same widgets in your portal as you do for the show widgets through forum.

Ok after chatting in live support you have to do it opposite.
Set the widgets to display though forum, hit save.
then go and drag the widgets you want and hit save again

Kirk is a savior! 
Through live support he casually mentioned the pixels you have to display... Somehow when I saved the forum widgets, it set the regular widget bar to 0px! I'm not sure how and whether or not that needs to be looked into (I doubt it wasn't me because I'm one of those people with lots of tabs who refreshes often to check and after one refresh that happened), but anyways it's solved!
