I would like to introduce my latest summer project, the Llandough Flyer - a 1976 Ducati 860 GTS bevel drive cafe racer. Basically I put this bike together as the summer run around from a fairly plain Ducati 860 GTS. I

Apparently, there should be a couple of hundreds left, in the world.
Just like the kz900 z1, but with a smaller engine because of the Japenese legislation at the time.
I would like to share my way from frame, engine and wheels to something that looks like a real cafe racer.
With my own twist of course.... and with all the trouble and pain that follows when you dont use "bolt-on" parts......
The plan is to
deze ben ik vandaag in Utrecht gaan halen, nu begint het werk, hè he. beginnen met
een ander stuur. Ik ga wel voor een Mstuur, rij nl nogal veel en ben groot (=rugpijn). De uitlaten mss vervangen hoewel ze wel mooi klinken, ga dat even afwachten. Chroom
Zoals een aantal van jullie al weten, heb ik een honda cb360 gekocht aantal weken terug, uit eindelijk vandaag pas kunnen ophalen.
De bedoeling is om hier een redelijk low-budget project van te gaan maken.
