v3.237 MC is creating multiple NFOs for single movie

I have a directory which contains 8 video files, named dirname_pt1.avi, dirname_pt2.avi, dirname_pt3.avi ... dirname_pt8.avi etc.
Where dirname is the directory name.

MC created an NFO file for parts 1, 6, 7 & 8, when I was expecting it only to create an NFO for pt1.

Any ideas?

I checked the filenames carefully, and in fact, just to be sure there wasn't a funny character causin
