How to add Local Trailers

I have tried to manually add 30 second trailers for my Star Trek episodes in quicktime format in my nfo files using the following syntax:
<trailer>Past_Prologue.mov</trailer>
<trailer>/TV Shows/Star Trek Deep Space Nine/Season01/Past_Prologue.mov</trailer>
Neither of these seem to work as the "Trailer" button found under the "Episode Information" menu is still non-selectable (grayed out
