Media Companion Running in Ubuntu

Media Companion Application Error

I can get it to run on my Windows XP laptop (32bit) but on my PC (tried with both Windows XP 32bit and Windows 7 64bit), I just get this error when trying to open the program: Media Companion.exe - Application Error The application failed to initializ

OT Question: Media Companion for music

Does anyone know of a similar program to this for Music? Something that would scrape last.fm, musicbrainz, and or allmusic and build the .nfo and .tbn files for XBMC to use. Love the proggie. It works wonderful.
