GIG HARBOR — UPDATE: On Jan. 5, at about 3:30 p.m., the body of a deceased female was located in a heavily wooded area in north Gig Harbor.
According to a Gig Harbor Police Department press release, the body has tentatively been identified as that of 21-year old Whitney Lee Schaefer.
