Kingdom hearts 358/2 Days

Well, I've been considering buying it since amazon has it pretty cheap and everyone seems to go on about it. Not to forget I've seen Xion popping up absolutely everywhere. But is it worth it? People who go on about it either say 'IT'S AMAAAZIIIIINGGG!!!!11!!!1!!!' or 'it fails more than fish trying to walk.' What do you think?

Does anybody know when this is even going to come out, or even if Square Enix has one planned? I know that they came out for a few on PSP and DS but it is just not the same as the main story line with Sora. Isn't it about time for a new one?
