Jealousy Through AMV Makers?

I've spoke to some AMV Makers and they can be pretty competitive and quite secretive when it comes to giving out information.
For example some Artists don't let on which program they're using, is it because they don't want to give someone else the chance
of making something like they can? Or are they afraid of someone copying their work? I've seen some AMV Makers be quite bitter
to others because of jealousy and such, has that ever hap
