In November 2010, Barnes & Noble began shipping theNOOK Color e-book reader. The NOOKcolor offers a 7-inch color screen, touch-screen interface, Wi-Fi support, and runs Android 2.1.

The NOOK Color has a 3.7V 400mAh 14.8Wh Li-ion battery. According to CNET's review of the NOOKcolor, you'll get about eight hours of reading on a full charge.

I would wait around a bit before updating since this will undo your current root. But it is good to know that updates are still coming. I was kinda hoping for a 2.2 version and than have fun rooting it. LINK Barnes & Noble is providing a minor
Great news! I just read over at "Android Community" that someone has managed to get Honeycomb (Android 3.0), on the NOOKColor! There are pictures too. I wonder how long it will take for B & N to send out another update?
The NB3 I just got from HSN is working fine, but I'm concerned about the battery. Since you can only recharge it about 300 times, does anyone know what happens when it goes? Can I replace it myself so does it have to go back to the company?
I should be receiving my Nook Color tomorrow and plan to do a comparion between it and my Archos 70. Suppose to be for the wife to replace her kindle but she said she is fine with the kindle so I get another toy.
